MARCH 2016

Our Second LTT

All partners with students met together for the second short-term learning/teaching/training activity from 6th March to 12th March 2016 at "G. Deledda" Secondary School in Pescopagano, Dpt of IC "J. Stella" Muro Lucano, PZ - Italy.

It was a great week for teachers, families and also the community but above all for students that met new friends from other countries, experienced new situations and shared opinions too. The theme was "Disability" so we worked about this topic with mind maps, short acrostics and poems, drawings, wordsearch, ppts and videos about famous disableds in each own country. The Turkish delegation introduced Guler Demircan, the secretary of their school, affected by a visual impairment and a hero of judo, a true example so that we never give up and we should see the ability and not the disability.We worked hard and we are satisfied for what we planned.

The students enjoyed the different activities planned : Art workshop, Science and magic art workshop, the respect of life with poems workshop, sport and music.They also enjoyed some funny activities with the students and teachers of the Primary School. All together had a great time during the culture night : tasting different foods from the different countries , singing and dancing too.

THE NEXT MEETING

FRANCE - MAY 2016

Our next meeting will take place at "Le Collége du Sacré Coeur" La Ville du Bois , south of Paris.

The dates are 8th May to 14th May 2016.

This is the third LTT meeting. Students from all the partner countries will travel to France.

The theme is "Europe".

Activities and Presentations

In France each partner school will give a presentation on their own country and organization , a map of France and a kamishibai tale both in Eglish and national language. Students will work about a European man sticking all the pictures from each own country, will wear a traditional costume and will sing a European song in their national language.
