Breakfast Biscuits
A sweet way to start a new day!
Ingredients
250 gr flour
60 gr milk
2 eggs
50 gr butter
70 gr sugar
10 gr baking powder
caster sugar
Total time : 42 min
Prep.: 30 min
Cook :12 min
Yield : 40 biscuits
Level : Easy
Directions
1.Mix the
eggs with sugar in a large bowl with a wooden spoon
and beat to combine, then add warm milk and butter
mixing well.
2.Add
flour gradually then the baking powder and stir until the mixture is well combined – use your
hands to give
everything a really good mix.
3.Prepare
some little balls from the mixture and give them a shape you like.
4.Roll
them into the caster sugar then place them in a pan with baking sheets and bake
them at 160° for 10 minutes .
5.Take
the biscuits out of the oven and eat them when they are cold.

Biscotti per la colazione
Ingredienti
250 gr farina
60 gr latte

10 gr lievito per dolci
zucchero a velo

Preparazione
1.Montare le uova con lo
zucchero in
una ciotola con un
cucchiaio di legno , aggiungere il latte caldo e il burro
e continuare a mescolare.
2.Aggiungere gradatamente la
farina e il lievito e mescolare bene il tutto, se necessario lavorare l’impasto con le mani.
3.Preparare delle palline dall’impasto e dare
la forma che si vuole.
4.Rotolarle nello zucchero a velo e adagiarle in una teglia rivestita con carta da forno. Infornare a160°
per 10 minuti .
5.Sfornarli e servirli freddi.

Spaghetti aglio olio con la mollica

Spaghetti aglio olio con la mollica
It is a typical dish in the South of Italy, easy and
fast to prepare. It is a very cheap dish, also known as “poor spaghetti”… It tastes good!
Ingredients
400 gr “spaghetti”
1 tea spoon of salt
1 clove of garlic
3 table spoons of olive oil
Parsley
Bread crumbs
Total time: 20 minutes
Prep :10 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Yield: 4 people
Level : easy
Cost : cheap
Directions
1.Put the
olive oil in a small pan with the garlic, add some bread crumbs and if you like some hot red pepper cut into small pieces so that they become crunchy and take away from the cooker. Remember to take away the garlic.
2.Put some
water in a pan with salt and boil it.
3.Add the
“spaghetti” and take away after 8/10 minutes. Drain the “spaghetti” and place them on a dish.
4.Pour the warm oil with fried bread crumbs.
5.Spread the
minced parsley and serve.

Spaghetti aglio olio con la mollica
È un piatto tipico dell’Italia meridionale; semplice, veloce
ed economico. È anche conosciuto come
“spaghetti poveri”… Da gustare!
Ingredienti
400 gr “spaghetti”
1 cucchiaio da te di sale
1 spicchio di aglio
3 cucchiai di olio di oliva
Prezzemolo
Mollica di pane
Tempo: 20 minuti
Prep : 10 minuti
Cottura : 10 minuti
Porzioni : 4 persone
Difficoltà: semplice
Costo : economico
Preparazione
1.Mettere
l’olio di oliva in una padella con lo spicchio d’aglio, aggiungere la mollica
del pane e se piace anche del peperoncino tagliato a pezzetti e farlo diventare
croccante. Ricordare di togliere l’aglio.
2.Mettere
l’acqua in una pentola con il sale e portarla ad ebollizione.
3.Aggiungere
gli “spaghetti” e toglierli dopo 8/10 minuti. Scolarli e sistemarli su un
piatto da portata.
4.Versare
l’olio con la mollica e il peperoncino.
5.Aggiungere
del prezzemolo tritato e servire.

Salted codfish with dry fried red peppers
“Baccalà con peperoni cruschi
It is a typical dish of Basilicata region in the South of Italy.
The cod was very important for the people of this region who lived far from the sea .
It was easy to conserve and take from one place to another and it could substitute meat too.
People prepare it especially at Christmas time.
It can be prepared in different ways.
Ingredients
700 gr cod fish
200 gr dry fried red peppers
2 table spoons of parsley
½ glass of olive oil
Directions
1.Before preparing cod, put it into some fresh water for some days to remove the salt.
2.Boil it for 10/15 minutes.
3.Take away the cod from the pan, clean it and place the cod on a plate.
4.Put some
oil in a pan and warm it well then add the dry red peppers cut into small pieces and without seeds. In a little time they are crunchy.
Pour the
oil with red peppers on the cod then spread the parsley on the cod and serve it.
